Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Monday told Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) officials to make sure electricity is supplied without breaks across the province. He also asked them to quickly fix problems in the transmission system by making a strong and clear plan.

He gave these instructions while leading a meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. The meeting discussed the province’s electricity supply system, public complaints, and power projects in far-off areas.
QESCO’s Chief Executive Officer, Syed Yousuf Shah, gave a detailed update on the company’s problems, the current power situation, and possible solutions.
CM Bugti said QESCO should put the public’s comfort first. He told them to improve the complaint system so people’s issues are heard and solved quickly. He also ordered that there should be no unnecessary load-shedding or power cuts in summer, as keeping people comfortable in the heat is QESCO’s main duty.
He also advised the public to make use of available facilities like the QESCO Online Bill service to easily check their electricity bills from home, helping save time and avoid delays.
The Chief Minister directed that ongoing power projects in remote and less-developed areas, including Dera Bugti and Bekar, must be completed on time. He also asked for a solid plan to improve electricity in these places.
He said the provincial government will do everything it can to provide basic services to the people, and that all public sector departments must work honestly and responsibly.
